perhaps, we just felt the need to voice our opinions in opposition ? twist it how you will to make yourself feel better, but there is alot of good in the game to go with the flaws... and noone has said its perfect, least of all me

simple ideology.. half empty or half full ? which personality type are you ?

do we need to voice whats wrong, of course

many posts made here have been told to redirect to the "search" button by the sphincter police... im pretty sure most of the bellyaching has been covered to. if you find something new, great, let us all know ... but i fail to see why we need to rehash the same things over and over... or do the same rules not apply to all here ?

Here is Anet's 2 biggest mistake, taking out 2 things that RP gamers like.
I guess it shouldn't matter cause faction is geared toward pvp anyway.
Hence, my prediction is chapter 2 will be a total disappointment even with there minor patches and Chapter 3 will be a total failure.

Good Bye Anet...the one hit wonder.
I don't feel that way at all. I think that ANet will fix a lot of the mistakes they made in Factions, and come back with an even better Chapter III. Factions has only been out for like what, 2 weeks? and you're already saying ANet is ruined. I believe in the list of logical fallacies, that goes under 'hasty generalization.' I have faith in ANet =) They seem to listen to their community, which is what all successful MMO game developers need to do.

"Good Bye Anet"

and what stocks should i buy in the next 6 mos ?

if ANet has shown anything its that they take action, the game doesnt just sit. if something is wrong, they have fixed it eventually, is there any reason to expect they wont keep doing that ?

Then go away and stop annoying the people who appricate the game.

Seriously, if all the people threatening to leave the game would just do it, I'd be happy.

Yeah but then there would only be like 8 of us playing and we'd all have to party with each other and then who would we sell our outrageously priced rares too? Who I ask you? who?

<--- Passing grade here, although not glowing. There's a few things that bug me so far (locked door syndrome is fine on the first character, not so good on the 4th), things I haven't delved into enough to have decided on yet (co-operative/unco-operative PvP missions), and things that might hurt it in the long run (smaller map and short story arc could mean a much shorter interest span), but the plusses outweigh.

It's a beautiful game, reduced focus on the story arc (which inevitably gets tiring the 6th time through), quicker levelling up (great for veterans, maybe not so good for newbies who like story), improvements to the Ele and Mes skill sets that will make them more viable primaries in PvE once people figure them out....

Most importantly, A.net brought fresh ideas to the game, as well as integrating some things that many were calling for (reduction of solo farming and running, etc). I'd rather see that than some same-old "safe tried-and-true" approach.
